The same applies to our suppliers and factories. We have been working with many of them for more than 10 years; our collaboration with some stretches back as far as 30 years. Our systematic approach and regular dialogues help us to create close, sustainable relationships.

We maintain a presence at our suppliers in different forms and for various reasons in order to strengthen, develop and deliver quality. Our meetings deal with everything from joint strategies and future plans to CSR and environmental practice, in addition to assuring the quality of our collections and processes.

Once again, this is driven by our conviction that participation and an active presence create the positive atmosphere that leads to effective cooperation and good quality.

Every garment that we create impacts on the environment in one way or another. That is why we make sure that our production meets stringent environmental criteria. Even so, we also understand that this is an ongoing process that will constantly need to be improved and refined.

In today’s globalised world Franchetti is a small company, which is why we liaise with other players to achieve the best possible results and to continuously advance our position. We are members of the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) and of the Chemicals Group at Swerea IVF. These affiliations improve the opportunities we have to exert a positive influence on our suppliers and to contribute to their success by ensuring that they meet our CSR and environmental criteria.

We make every effort to treat our own employees and those of our partners with respect and responsibility. At Franchetti we feel strongly about working conditions and the work environment at our suppliers. We want to know the truth – even when it is unpleasant – because truth and facts must always form the foundation on which to build a process of lasting and sustainable change.
